ACLU, Education Minnesota Sues St. Francis Schools Over Book Ban

An Education Minnesota — St. Francis press release from Monday afternoon announced that it has filed a lawsuit against the St. Francis Area Schools District over its December 2024 book ban.

“The district’s policy is antithetical to the values of public education and encouraging discourse," the lawsuit claims. "Perhaps more importantly, the policy violates the Minnesota Constitution and state law.”
