In collaboration with Bloomington Public Health and Sustainability, these fairs are scheduled to run on a series of Wednesdays—June 25, July 23, and August 13, from 2-4 p.m., at the Penn Lake Library.
According to the official announcement on the city's website, these events aim to provide invaluable resources and tools for sustainable living.
For those aiming to improve their daily habits, the fairs offer a wealth of information and practical giveaways.
Experts will provide advice on topics like waste reduction and energy savings, while attendees can take home items such as compost bins, LED bulbs, and reusable water bottles. The city's announcement highlighted that "Free snacks and refreshments are also provided while supplies last," stressing the fairs' commitment to offering a welcoming and accommodating experience.
