Coon Rapids Police Department Gears Up For Family-Friendly Bike Rodeo Event Focused On Cycling Safety
The Coon Rapids Police Department is set to host their Bike Rodeo event on Saturday, May 31st, welcoming families and young cyclists to a morning dedicated to biking safety and fun. According to a post on their Facebook page, the event runs from 10 AM to 12 PM and aims to teach children the essential bicycle riding do's and don'ts through interactive safety stations and an obstacle course.

Participants can expect to have their bicycle fit checked by officers and have the opportunity to purchase helmets to ensure proper protective gear. Young attendees will enhance their biking proficiency by practicing starts, stops, and turns, as well as mastering the signals crucial for safe navigation on the roads.
