Fusion U16 Boys Fall To Tonka United in Opening Match of USA Cup

The U16 Fusion boys soccer team fell to Tonka United 3-1 in their opening round pool play match of the USA Cup.

Spencer Miller scored a goal on a through ball from Ethan Tate to put Fusion up 1-0.

Fusion took that one-goal lead into halftime, but Tonka United scored three unanswered goals in the second half.

Jacob Diebel netted two goals and Robert Jin scored the other for Tonka.

Fusion will have two more matches to play in the 16B Silver pool.

USA Cup continues through Saturday at the fields of the National Sports Center in Blaine.
