COON RAPIDS, Minn. — October 9, 2025 — The Coon Rapids Farmers Market wrapped up its 2025 season on Wednesday, October 8, following a successful summer and fall run that brought together local growers, bakers, and artisans.
Held weekly from June 18 through October 8, the market operated every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the parking lot of the Coon Rapids Ice Center at 11000 Crooked Lake Boulevard. The event was organized by the City of Coon Rapids in partnership with the Anoka County Growers Association, serving as a key destination for residents to “shop local and eat fresh,” according to the city’s official website.
Throughout the season, visitors enjoyed a wide array of locally sourced products, including fresh vegetables, berries, flowers, honey, jams, and breads. To further enhance the experience, the market also welcomed cottage bakers, artists, and crafters, adding a creative touch to the traditional farmers market setting.
For its final market day on October 8, the City of Coon Rapids featured a special lineup of additional vendors, including FantasyWorkbenchCo, In Fine Feather Vegan Foods, G’ma’s Bakery, Selah Sol & Co., and Summer Lakes Beverages.
The Coon Rapids Farmers Market is a long-standing community event coordinated by the Anoka County Growers Association and managed by the City of Coon Rapids Recreation Division. The city regularly shares schedule updates, vendor information, and seasonal highlights through its official website and social media channels.
