COON RAPIDS, MN — October 11, 2025 — The Coon Rapids Police Department (CRPD) has announced the launch of its new community outreach program, BRIDGE (Building Relationships, Inspiring Dialogue, and Generating Empathy). The initiative is designed to foster stronger, safer, and more connected communities by promoting understanding among residents of all ages, races, ethnicities, cultures, and backgrounds.
The BRIDGE program aims to shape the future of policing in Coon Rapids through meaningful conversations and diverse perspectives, strengthening the relationship between law enforcement and the community. This year, the committee will focus on strategies for connecting with and supporting local youth, promoting stronger relationships and understanding between young residents and police officers.
