MINNEAPOLIS, MN (September 1, 2026) Ryan Jeffers hit two home runs, Walker Jenkins recorded the first homer of his major league career and Taj Bradley delivered seven strong innings as the Minnesota Twins overwhelmed the Detroit Tigers 11-1 Monday night at Target Field.

The victory gave Minnesota consecutive wins and delivered one of the Twins' most complete performances of the late-season stretch.

Jeffers drove in four runs while going 2-for-3.

His biggest blow came during a three-run homer in the fifth inning as Minnesota opened a substantial advantage over Detroit.

Jenkins later added a milestone of his own.

The rookie outfielder hit his first major league home run in the eighth inning, taking position player Zach McKinstry deep after Detroit had turned to a non-pitcher with the game out of reach.

Jenkins entered the major leagues only days earlier and had already collected his first major league hit and RBI.

Monday's homer added another marker to the opening chapter of his career.

Kody Clemens also homered for Minnesota.

Luke Keaschall contributed two hits and scored three times as the Twins repeatedly put pressure on Detroit's defense and pitching staff.
