BROOKLYN PARK, MN (September 11, 2026). Brooklyn Park residents can spend part of Saturday celebrating Latin culture through live music, dance, art and community activities as the city's Latinofest returns for a free three-hour gathering.
Latinofest will be held Saturday, September 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Brooklyn Park's Community Activity Center.
The event is free and open to the public.
Brooklyn Park is presenting the celebration in connection with Hispanic Heritage Month, bringing cultural performances onto the Community Activity Center lawn alongside art activities and community resources.
The program includes live music from Salsa del Soul, scheduled to perform from 11 to 11:45 a.m.
Kalpulli Yaocenoxtli Aztec Dancers are scheduled from noon to 12:30 p.m., bringing Indigenous Mexican dance traditions into the day's cultural program.
Beyond the stage, the event is designed as a community gathering rather than simply a concert.
Art activities and community-resource information will be available, giving families an opportunity to participate while learning about organizations and services in the area.
