MINNEAPOLIMEDIA NEWS | Two Teenagers Arrested After Fights Escalate Outside Park Center Football Game
BROOKLYN PARK, MN (September 30, 2026). Two teenagers were arrested after several fights escalated into a large disturbance outside a Park Center Senior High School football game in Brooklyn Park, according to police and Osseo Area Schools.
Brooklyn Park police officers were already assigned to security at the school when the disturbance developed in the parking lot at approximately 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Police described the incident as several separate fights that grew into a larger confrontation involving a crowd. Officers issued multiple orders directing people to disperse.
Two teenagers who allegedly refused to leave were arrested. Osseo Area Schools said neither teenager is enrolled at Park Center Senior High School.
Authorities maintained a significant police presence at the school for approximately an hour. No injuries were reported, and officials have not announced any weapons recovery or additional arrests.
The disturbance occurred while Park Center hosted Robbinsdale Cooper in a football game that Park Center won 27-26.
The arrests bring renewed attention to security at school athletic events, where administrators must manage crowds that can include students from multiple schools, graduates and adults with no direct connection to the participating teams.
Officials had not publicly identified the teenagers or disclosed the specific offenses for which they were arrested. Because the people involved are juveniles, additional identifying information may remain confidential.
