ANOKA, MN (September 11, 2026). A veteran-led effort focused on preventing suicide among former service members will bring a daylong community event to the Anoka County Fairgrounds Saturday, combining entertainment with fundraising and awareness around one of the most persistent challenges facing veterans and their families.
Operation Zero will be held from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, September 12, at the Anoka County Fairgrounds, 3200 St. Francis Blvd. NW, Anoka, MN 55303.
Organizers describe Operation Zero as a veteran-driven mission built around a direct objective: preventing veteran suicide by strengthening community connections, increasing awareness and supporting resources for people who have served.
Saturday's program includes a motorcycle show, car show, live music, food, drinks and fireworks.
The event is open to all ages.
But the entertainment is being organized around a larger purpose.
Organizers say proceeds from the event will support veteran suicide-prevention work and resources for veterans.
