Roseville Police Seek Video After Woman Is Abducted at Gunpoint and Held for Hours
ROSEVILLE, MN (September 25, 2026). Roseville police are seeking witnesses and camera footage after a woman reported that a masked gunman abducted her outside a business and held her captive for several hours.
Police said the woman was leaving a business near County Road C and the East Snelling Service Drive at approximately 5 p.m. Wednesday when a man she did not know approached her with a firearm.
According to investigators, the assailant forced the woman to leave with him. She was released several hours later on the east side of Saint Paul and received hospital treatment.
Authorities have not said whether investigators believe the woman was selected randomly. Police have also withheld details about what occurred while she was being held, both to protect the survivor and preserve the investigation.
Officers are asking anyone who traveled through the County Road C and East Snelling area between 3 and 10 p.m. Wednesday to review dashboard-camera recordings. Nearby residents and businesses are being asked to examine surveillance and doorbell-camera footage for unfamiliar people, vehicles or activity.
Roseville police have increased patrols around the area. Tips may be submitted by calling 651-767-0640 or through the evidence-submission system linked by the city.
The account remains an active police investigation. No arrest or definitive description of the assailant had been announced at the time of publication.
