Sunday changes the pace. The crowds become easier to manage, farmers markets settle into their morning routines and the Twin Cities Arab Film Festival moves to Walker Art Center for an afternoon and evening of cinema, memory, cultural distance and conversation. Coon Rapids will invite families to exchange Halloween costumes instead of buying new ones. Saint Paul will celebrate Czech and Slovak traditions, while the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum turns toward apples and autumn.

Teams are judged on flight distance, creativity and performance. The result is part engineering contest, part costume spectacle and part public comedy.
