Fridley Public School District Superintendent Kim Hiel Leaving For Osseo Area Schools

Earlier this month, the Osseo Area Schools Board of Education announced they were entering contract negotiations with Fridley Public Schools Superintendent Kim Hiel as its choice for the district’s next superintendent. Hiel has led Fridley Public Schools since 2018.

“Congratulations to Dr. Hiel,” said Fridley School Board Chair Ross Meisner said. “We have been delighted with her work in Fridley and will miss her greatly. She leaves big shoes to fill and has set a high bar for our next superintendent. We will begin the search process immediately and will share updates shortly on the planned timeline.”

Hiel is expected to begin service in Osseo Area Schools on July 1.
