ANDOVER

Arrests

• On July 21 at the intersection Martin Street and Bunker Lake Boulevard northwest deputies observed a driver not signaling and making multiple turns and lane changes. When they made contact with the driver, they smelled alcohol and the driver stated he had a couple beers. Field sobriety tests were conducted and failed. He was arrested and charged with fourth degree DWI 0.143%.

• On July 22 at the intersection of Bunker Lake Boulevard and Marigold Street northwest. Deputies stopped a driver for speeding at 70 miles per hour 50. When they made contact with the driver, he smelled alcohol. The driver stated he had two beers. Fields sobriety tests were conducted and failed. The driver was arrested and charged with third-degree DWI. BAC: 0.14%.

• On July 27 at the intersection of Seventh and 159th avenues northwest multiple callers reported a vehicle all over the road and then it would just stop in the middle of traffic. Deputies located the vehicle stopped on the shoulder. Deputies made contact with the driver who appeared impaired, who also had a broken leg. Field sobriety tests were conducted and failed. The driver’s preliminary breath tests came back at 0.00%. So a warrant for blood was obtained. He was arrested and charged with third-degree DWI.

Property damage

• On July 21 in the 15400 block of Wintergreen St. NW a home was vandalized with toilet paper.

• On July 22 at the intersection of Wintergreen and Xeon streets northwest four juveniles were reported to be acting suspicious. Deputies caught two juvenile females. A sheriff’s office investigation found that the teens had been doing this multiple times for “reaction” videos on Snapchat.

• On July 27 in the 3500 block of 135th Lane NW a door was kicked in, and yard decorations thrown around.

Theft

• On July 21 in the 2800 block of 142nd Lane NW screens were cut off a basement window.

ANOKA

Assault

• On July 18 in the 3300 block of Seventh Ave. an assault was reported.

Theft/Fraud

• On July 17 at 1:29 p.m. in the 1900 block of Ferry St. a caller reported he was sent a fraudulent check by someone in Florida.

• On July 18 at 11:56 a.m. in the 1100 block of North St. a storage locker was burglarized.

• On July 19 at 9:33 p.m. in the 200 block of Harrison St. theft was reported.

• On July 20 at 2:14 p.m. in the 4300 block of Parkview Circle theft from a motor vehicle was reported.

• On July 20 at 5:39 p.m. in the 500 block of E. Main St. blackmail was reported.

• On July 21 at 1:35 p.m. in the 2000 block of Second Ave. theft was reported.

On July 23 at 5:06 p.m. in the 2800 block of Cutters Grove Ave. theft was reported.

• On July 23 at 4 p.m. in the 2600 block of Ninth Lane a motor vehicle was reported stolen.

Property damage

• On July 17 at 3:43 p.m. in the 6000 block of W. Main St. a duck blind was damaged.

• On July 20 at 5:37 p.m. in the 3300 block of Fourth Ave. property damage was reported.

• On July 23 at 4:06 p.m. in the 3300 block of Fourth Ave. vandalism was reported.

Miscellaneous

• On July 20 at 7:19 p.m. man came to the Ramsey Police Department and reported that a driver at the intersection of Highway 10 and Fairoak Avenue NW in the city of Anoka committed multiple driving violations that were captured on dashcam footage. Police were able to contact the driver who admitted to the driving violations. A citation was mailed to the driver.

BETHEL

Theft

• On July 25 in the 200 block of Main St. NW a flatbed trailer stolen from a business and a padlock on a gate was cut.

COON RAPIDS

Arrests

• On July 21 at 8:24 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 610 NW and East River Road northwest police arrested driver and charged them with DWI and possession of a controlled substance.

• On July 22 at 1:13 a.m. in the 200 block of 101st Ave. NW police arrested a driver and charged them with third-degree DWI.

• On July 22 at 6:02 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Coon Creek Boulevard northwest following a car collision, police arrested a driver for DWI.

Drugs

• On July 26 at 2:03 p.m. in the 12700 block of Riverdale Blvd. NW a controlled substance incident was reported.

Property damage

• On July 21 at 10:53 a.m. in the 11300 block of Robinson Drive NW property damage was reported.

• On July 23 at 10:25 p.m. in the 1800 block of 113th Ave. NW property damage was reported.

• On July 24 at 3:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of 109th Ave. NW felony property damage was reported.

Theft

• On July 20 at 7:48 p.m. in the 12000 block of Wintergreen St. NW theft was reported.

• On July 20 at 10:15 p.m. in the 3000 block of Coon Rapids Blvd. NW theft was reported.

• On July 21 at 10 a.m. in the 10500 block of Unity St. NW felony theft was reported.

• On July 21 at 2:28 p.m. in the 2000 block of Coon Rapids Blvd. NW theft was reported.

• On July 21 at 4:59 p.m. in the 11700 block of Zea St. NW theft was reported.

• On July 21 at 6:22 p.m. in the 12700 block of Riverdale Blvd. NW theft was reported.

• On July 23 at 7:29 p.m. in the 12700 block of Riverdale Blvd. a business was reported burglarized.

• On July 23 at 11:16 p.m. in the 10500 block of Xavis St. NW a robbery occurred.

• On July 24 at 9:04 a.m. in the 9600 block of Foley Blvd. NW theft was reported.

• On July 24 at 5 p.m. in the 3500 block of River Rapids Drive shoplifting was reported.

• On July 25 at 12:55 p.m. in the 2000 block of Gateway Drive NW a vehicle was reported stolen.

• On July 25 at 9:09 p.m. in the 3300 block of 124th Ave. NW shoplifting was reported.

• On July 21 at 11:45 p.m. in the 12800 block of Flamingo St. NW criminal sexual conduct was reported.

• On July 21 at 11:52 p.m. in the 1900 block of Gateway Drive NW a caller reported someone tampered with a motor vehicle.

• On July 22 at 9:51 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 10 and Hanson Boulevard northwest a driver attempted to flee in a motor vehicle.

• On July 26 at 12:31 a.m. at the intersection of University and 101st avenues northwest a suspect attempted to flee on foot.

• On July 26 at 2:01 a.m. in the 11900 block of Magnolia ST. NW criminal sexual conduct was reported.

EAST BETHEL

Arrests

• On July 24 at the intersection of Klondike Drive and Highway 65 northeast deputies were called to a person sleeping behind the wheel in a vehicle. Deputies woke him up and he was very lethargic and appeared impaired. They smelled marijuana and observed multiple pill bottles and a crystal substance on a plate in the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and multiple drugs and paraphernalia were found. He was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance.

HAM LAKE

Arrests

• On July 22 in the 2600 block of 153rd Ave. NE deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash. When they arrived, they located a male slumped over the steering wheel of one vehicle. He appeared impaired and did not know how the crash happened. Field sobriety tests were conducted and failed. He was arrested and charged with third degree DWI. BAC: 0.182%.

OAK GROVE

Arrests

• On July 22 in 21700 block of Cedar Drive NW deputies stopped a driver for not having a front plate, extinguished rear light, and an expired tab on the rear plate. He made contact with the driver who appeared impaired. Field sobriety tests were failed. He was arrested and charged with third-degree DWI. BAC 0.179%.

• On July 23 at the intersection of Viking Boulevard and Orchid Street northwest deputies stopped a vehicle for having 2021 tabs. When they spoke with the driver, she stated she is a Libertarian and does not believe in paying taxes and that’s why her tabs are expired. The deputy explained that if she doesn’t have tabs, it is considered an unregistered motor vehicle and cannot be on a public roadway. She was arrested and her vehicle was towed.

RAMSEY

Arrests

• On July 2 t 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of 161st Avenue and Armstrong Boulevard police were dispatched to a single-vehicle personal injury accident. Following an investigation into the crash, police arrested a driver and charged them with third-degree DWI.

• On July 3 at 4:33 p.m. an alleged shoplifter was reported stealing groceries from Coburn’s Grocery Store.

• On July 4 at 2:27 a.m. in the 7300 block of Ramsey Blvd. NW police stopped a vehicle for failing to maintain its lane and having expired tabs. Police tested the driver’s BAC that came back at 0.24%. The man was arrested and charged with for third-degree DWI.

• On July 9 at 11:02 p.m. in the 7200 block of Sunwood Drive NW police arrested a 31-year-old man for gross misdemeanor driving while impaired.

• On July 9 at 5:50 p.m. in the 5800 block of 142nd Ave. NW police arrested a 35-year-old male driver and charged him with second-degree DWI; violation of driving restrictions; driving a vehicle without an ignition interlock and a alcohol violation.

• On July 10 at 9:51 p.m. in the 7400 block of Bunker Lake Blvd. Ramsey police stopped a vehicle for its poor driving conduct and an equipment violation. The male driver was believed to be under the influence and arrested. The driver submitted to a breath test and was transported to jail and was charged with second-degree DWI, and driving on a revoked license.

• On July 13 at 10:12 p.m. in the 6200 block of 145th Lane NW police were dispatched to a property damage accident. The 24-year-old male driver was arrested for second-degree DWI.

Theft

• On July 13 at 11:34 p.m. in the 14600 block of Helium St. NW a catalytic converter was reported stolen.

• On July 13 at 2:33 p.m. in the 14200 block of Tungsten Way NW phone call fraud was reported.

• On July 5 at 9:11 a.m. in the 17500 block of Rabbit St. NW a caller reported her car was stolen.

• On June 30 at 3:59 p.m. a Holiday gas station employee reported that two male teenagers stole candy and drinks and then fled in a vehicle.

• On June 30 at 5:05 p.m. police were dispatched for an alarm at Lord of Life Church. Squad video showed four juveniles fleeing on bikes as officers searched the perimeter. The juveniles were later identified at another burglary, and they admitted to entering Lord of Life Church.

• On June 30 at 8:08 p.m. at an unlisted address in Ramsey a business was burglarized.

ST. FRANCIS

Arrests

• On July 21 at 9:32 p.m. at the intersection of St. Francis Boulevard and 241st Ave. northwest police arrested a driver and charged them with felony first-degree DWI.

• On July 22 at 1:21 a.m. at the intersection of 241st Avenue and St. Francis Boulevard northwest police arrested a driver and charged them with DWI-test refusal.

• On July 25 at 7:20 a.m. in the 24300 block of Riverbank Lane NW police made a drug arrest.

Drugs

• On July 22 at 9:23 p.m. in the 3600 block of 225th Lane NW a drug incident was reported.

Theft

• On July 19 at 9:46 a.m. in the 3100 block of Bridge St. NW fraud was reported.

• On July 19 at 1:55 p.m. in the 4000 block of 233rd Ave. NW theft was reported.

• On July 21 at 8:23 a.m. in the 23000 block of Bittersweet St. NW fraud was reported.

• On July 22 at 8:46 a.m. in the 2500 block of 230th Court NW theft was reported.
