Huntington Bank will close 11 branches at Twin Cities Cub Foods locations next year.
Huntington, formerly known as TCF Bank, shared in its most recent earnings announcement, that it would consolidate 34 locations in the first quarter of 2024.
That includes almost a dozen locations in metro area Cub Foods stores, though the bank says ATMs at those locations will remain open.

Branches will close in the following Cub Foods stores:
“We regularly review our distribution network (in-store and traditional) and make adjustments and improvements to ensure our mix of branches, ATMs and online and mobile banking continue to meet our customers’ evolving needs,” Huntington Bank spokesperson Kris Dahl said in a statement.
Dahl also said the bank will “make every effort” to place employees at affected branches into comparable roles.
