Rogers Royals Win On The Road Against Coon Rapids Cardinals

The Rogers Royals won the road game against the Coon Rapids Cardinals 8-4 on Saturday.

The hosting Cardinals took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Trenton Theisen. Tyler Barsness and Jackson Engberg assisted.

The Royals tied it up 1-1 with a goal from Nolen Geerdes in the first period, assisted by Parker Deschene and Brandon Swanson.

The Royals' Jake Vukich took the lead late in the first, assisted by Mason Wanka and Brady Sorrentino.

Five goals were scored in the second period, and the Royals led 6-2 going in to the third period.

Tyler Barsness narrowed the gap to 6-3 early in the third period, assisted by Roan Bresnahan and Trenton Theisen.

Mason Wanka made it 7-3 two minutes later, assisted by Mason Jenson.

Trenton Theisen also narrowed the gap to 7-4 two minutes later, assisted by Jackson Engberg and Roan Bresnahan.

Keaton Weis also increased the lead to 8-4 one minute later, assisted by Jake Vukich and Mason Wanka.
