CCX Sports Spotlight: Lucas Busch And Connor Stelljes, Maple Grove Boys Hockey

In this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight, Chaz Mootz profiles the two senior captains on the Maple Grove boys hockey team.

Lucas Busch is a forward that scored 23 goals and 24 assists this past season, leading the Crimson in total points with 47.

Stelljes is a defenseman that played a key role in a Crimson d-core that allowed less than two goals a game.

Busch will continue his hockey career at UMass-Lowell, Stelljes will play hockey for the Austin Bruins out of the NAHL.

Maple Grove finished their season with a 21-7 record and fell to Centennial in the Section 5AA Final.
