More Flight Traffic Over Coon Rapids During MSP Runway Construction

Seeing more planes flying over Coon Rapids? Due to runway construction at MSP, flight patterns changed this week, putting more air traffic over the north metro, the city of Coon Rapids posted on its Facebook account.

The current runway closure will continue until May 23. It will then reopen for peak summer travel season and close again from Aug. 18 to Sept. 26. This is the second consecutive year of runway construction at MSP.
