First Weekend Closures Planned for Highway 65 In Blaine, Spring Lake Park

As construction crews begin culvert replacement beneath Highway 65 south of Highway 10 in Blaine, motorists will encounter a single lane of traffic in both directions between Anoka County Road 10 in Spring Lake Park and Highway 10 in Blaine, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. At the same time, the ramp from eastbound Highway 10 to northbound Highway 65 will close and traffic will follow a signed detour south on Highway 65 to County Road 10 and back north. The ramp from westbound County Road 10 to southbound Highway 65 also will close and motorists will be advised to find an alternate route.

Lane and ramp closures will start at 10 p.m. Friday, April 19 and the road will reopen by 6 a.m. Mon., April 22.
