Anoka City Election Runner-Up Chosen To Fill Anoka Council Vacancy

After Erik Skogquist ran and won the Anoka Mayoral seat on Nov. 5, his former City Council seat opened up to a vacancy.

On Jan. 21, the Anoka City Council filled that vacancy by voting unanimously to seat Brent Campbell, who ran for a spot in the November General Election. The council selected Campbell due to his getting the most votes as a runner-up.
