Coon Rapids City Annual Arbor Day Plant Sale

The City of Coon Rapids is excited to announce its annual Arbor Day Plant Sale, offering residents the opportunity to purchase a variety of trees and shrubs at wholesale prices. This initiative encourages the community to embrace the upcoming spring by enhancing their landscapes with new greenery.

Details of the Sale:

• Trees: Available in a #10 container, each approximately six feet tall, priced at $125.
• Shrubs: Offered in a #2 container, each about two feet tall, priced at $30.
• Order Limit: Residents may purchase up to four plants per household.
• Availability: Plants are sold on a first-come, first-served basis until sold out or until April 23, 2025.

Ordering and Delivery:

All orders and payments must be completed online through the city's official website. Deliveries will be made during the week of April 28 to the address provided in the order form. Plants will be placed in a shady area near each residence.

Native Plant Kits:

This year, Native Plant Kits are also available for order. These kits can be picked up at the Public Works Open House on Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to noon, located at 1831 111th Ave. If an alternative pickup time is needed, residents should sustainability@coonrapidsmn.gov before May 17. Please note, failure to pick up the plants during the Open House or to arrange an alternative pickup will result in forfeiture of the plants.
