Investigation Underway After Teen Found Shot Dead In Anoka County

The victim was found inside a vehicle early Sunday morning.

No arrests have been made after a Twin Cities teenager was found shot dead inside a vehicle in Ramsey early Sunday, according to authorities.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office said deputies found 18-year-old Diamond Eddie Manly, of Brooklyn Park, dead of an apparent gunshot wound around 8:30 a.m. while responding to a report of a person slumped over inside a vehicle in the 14600 block of Snowy Owl Street Northwest.

In a news release Monday, the sheriff's office said Manly's death is being investigated as a homicide and no arrests have been made.

Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Anoka County non-emergency dispatch at 763-427-1212.

The Ramsey Police Department and Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office are assisting with the investigation.
