Community Safety Night at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church — Sept. 25, 2025

Coon Rapids, Minn. — Cross of Christ Lutheran Church will host a Community Safety Night on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, offering residents an open forum to hear directly from local public-safety officials about crime prevention, scams, and mental-health resources. The event runs from 6:30–8:00 p.m., with doors opening at 6:00 p.m., at 9931 Foley Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids.

The free, family-friendly evening will feature presentations and a Q&A session with local law-enforcement representatives and community safety partners. Attendees can learn practical steps for personal and neighborhood safety, including recognizing common scams. Mental-health resources and local support services will also be highlighted during the program.

Childcare will be available, and parents who plan to use this service are asked to register in advance. The church’s event listings provide a registration form, and questions can be directed to the Cross of Christ office via the phone number listed on the church calendar.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet Gizmo, the Coon Rapids Police Department’s wellness dog.
