Coon Rapids, MN - Rocky's Pumpkin Patch, a highly anticipated annual event, is set to return on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering an afternoon of free, festive fun for families at the Sand Creek Athletic Complex (1008 Northdale Blvd.).
Organized by the Coon Rapids Community Strength Foundation and the City of Coon Rapids, the event goes beyond typical fall festivities, serving as a platform to connect the community with local organizations that support youth. The goal is to bring together groups like athletic associations, clubs, and volunteer organizations to showcase the many opportunities available for young people in Coon Rapids.
Rocky's Pumpkin Patch promises a packed schedule of complimentary activities, encouraging children and families to come in costume for a chance to win a prize. The free fun includes:
A core component of the event is trick-or-treating and learning about local youth-serving organizations. Organizations and non-profits that provide extracurricular activities for youth are invited to register for a booth. This offers a great way to reach kids and families who might want to join a club, activity, or team.
The booth fee is $50. Participating groups are encouraged to decorate their booth and provide candy, games, or other giveaways for the thousands of trick-or-treaters expected at the event.
Booth registration is open now.
Concessions will be available for purchase, sold by the North Star Lions Club. The Coon Rapids Recreation Division also invites businesses to show their support through sponsorship opportunities.
