Keystone Foodmobile to Offer Emergency Food Distribution at Lamplighter Village Apartments

ST. PAUL, MN — Keystone Community Services will bring its mobile food shelf, the Keystone Foodmobile, to Lamplighter Village Apartments on Thursday, October 17, offering emergency food assistance to Twin Cities residents experiencing food insecurity. The public distribution will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 1512 N. Woodbridge Street, St. Paul.

The Keystone Foodmobile is part of the nonprofit’s ongoing effort to reach individuals and families who face transportation barriers or live in neighborhoods with limited access to grocery stores. The mobile unit provides essential groceries, including fresh produce, meat, dairy products, and shelf-stable items, directly to communities in need.

Service Guidelines and Eligibility

According to Keystone Community Services, anyone in need of emergency food is welcome to attend. The Foodmobile distribution counts as a visit to a Keystone food shelf, and participants may access Keystone’s food shelf services—whether through the main center or the mobile unit—once per month.

New participants may be asked to complete a brief intake form during their first visit. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own reusable bags to carry groceries.
