Season passes for the 2026 summer season at Bunker Beach Water Park, Minnesota’s largest outdoor water park, are now on sale, offering families and swimmers early access to discounted pricing and an expanded operating calendar. Located inside Bunker Hills Regional Park in Coon Rapids, the nine acre water park remains one of Anoka County’s most visited recreation destinations, drawing tens of thousands of guests each summer.
Anoka County has opened its annual winter season pass sale with two tiers of discounts for early purchasers. Shoppers can save 15 percent on season passes through December 31, 2025. A secondary early bird discount of 10 percent runs from January 1 through February 15, 2026. Standard pricing for a regular season pass is 162 dollars per person, based on current county figures, with discounted pricing applied automatically during the sale periods. Passes can be purchased online through the Anoka County Parks and Recreation registration system linked at BunkerBeach.com.
The county offers several pass options, including standard season passes, senior passes, and combined Water Park and Cardio Club passes that provide early morning fitness access in the Lazy River and Rocky Bay areas. Cardio Club only passes are also available, with the same discount windows applied.

Park officials confirmed that the 2026 operating season will run from Saturday, June 6 through Sunday, August 30. The extension adds seven additional days of general operation compared with prior years. Daily hours have been adjusted to 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to support program expansion and park maintenance scheduling.
The park will continue its structured schedule for Cardio Club fitness sessions, which take place in the mornings and select evenings. These sessions often include instructor led workouts along with optional concessions offerings, such as cold brew coffee and light breakfast items.
Season pass holders receive unlimited admission during public hours throughout the 2026 season along with several added benefits. These include early entry privileges on designated Season Passholder Appreciation Days, exclusive swim access from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. before the park opens to the public, and a dedicated entrance line for faster entry. Passholders also gain access to special appreciation events that feature discounted concessions and extended activity options.
Bunker Beach Water Park is implementing several capital upgrades ahead of the 2026 season. Key improvements include expanded parking capacity to reduce walk times and improve traffic flow during peak attendance periods. The Cardio Club program is also being expanded with longer sessions and added class diversity.
The park’s attractions remain a major regional draw. Bunker Beach features Minnesota’s largest outdoor heated wave pool, a 900 foot lazy river, six water slides, a zero depth entry Lagoon, an Adventure Pool with interactive elements, Rocky Bay activity areas with climbing walls and water games, and a splash pad for younger children.
Season passes can be picked up at the Bunker Hills Activities Center, during designated pass pickup nights, or on a guest’s first visit. Visitors should note that a Bunker Hills Regional Park vehicle entry permit is required for all guests and is not included with the cost of a season pass. Daily vehicle permits are 7 dollars and annual permits are 30 dollars.
Bunker Beach is located at 701 County Parkway A in Coon Rapids. Families looking to secure the lowest price for the 2026 season are encouraged to purchase passes during the December or early bird discount windows before full pricing begins in mid February.
