The Minneapolis Police Department has issued a public appeal for assistance in locating Jayceon Rogers, an endangered missing child who was last seen shortly before dinner in a north Minneapolis neighborhood. Authorities are asking residents throughout Minneapolis, Brooklyn Park, Robbinsdale, Crystal, Golden Valley, and surrounding communities to remain alert and immediately report any information that could assist investigators.
According to information released by the Minneapolis Police Department and distributed through missing-person advocacy organizations, Jayceon was visiting family on Sunday, June 14, when he disappeared. Investigators say he was last seen at approximately 5 p.m. in the 2500 block of 6th Street North.
Police have not publicly disclosed additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and have not indicated whether foul play is suspected. However, authorities have classified the case as an endangered missing child investigation and are actively seeking information from the public.
Search flyers circulated Sunday evening describe Jayceon as 10 years old, approximately 4 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 80 pounds, with brown eyes and distinctive black dreadlocks featuring red and orange tips.
At the time he was last seen, Jayceon was reportedly wearing a white T-shirt and beige jogging pants.

The disappearance prompted a rapid response from law enforcement and community organizations, which began distributing alerts across social media and community networks in an effort to generate leads during the critical early hours of the investigation.
Missing-child cases often depend heavily on timely information from the public. Law enforcement officials routinely emphasize that even seemingly minor observations can become important pieces of an investigation. Residents who were in the area of North 6th Street on Sunday afternoon or who may have surveillance footage from nearby homes or businesses are encouraged to contact authorities.
The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating the case under Case Number 26-163170.
