National bakery chain Paris Baguette is planning to establish its first Minnesota location.
The new establishment will open in Maple Grove at an undisclosed date in 2023. Details on its location were also limited as of Monday.
Brian Yi, a Minnesota resident and retail store owner, signed the agreement.
According to its website, Paris Baguette has opened 148 bakeries across the United States and established its concept in over 4,000 units worldwide.
“We are thrilled to announce our expansion to Minnesota. There’s a tremendous amount of opportunity in the bakery café space,” said Mark Mele, chief development officer. “No other bakery café franchisors are doing what Paris Baguette is on the same scale."
Its menu features cakes, sandwiches, breads, salads, coffee, tea and more.
According to a release, the company is aiming to open 1,000 units in the country by 2030. A total of 64 are expected to open in the U.S. by the end of 2023.
The brand first started franchising in 2015, according to a release.
Paris Baguette was named Entrepreneur Magazine's No. 1 bakery/cafe brand in January.
