The Minnesota Yacht Club Festival has announced the lineup for its inaugural event in St. Paul, with Alanis Morissette, Gwen Stefani and the Red Hot Chili Peppers confirmed as headliners.
The festival, which is scheduled for July 19 and 20 at Harriet Island Regional Park, will also feature The Black Crowes, The Offspring, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, The Head and The Heart, and Gary Clark Jr.
Minnesota is also well-represented in the lineup, with rising stars Durry, Gully Boys and Harbor & Home included on the Friday bill. Hippo Campus and Soul Asylum follow on Saturday, along with Minneapolis-originated but now New York-based The Hold Steady.
Those interested in attending can sign up for a presale code password online. Presale tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. General on-sale tickets will be available as of 11 a.m. Friday. Single and both-day tickets are available, as well as GA+, VIP, Riverboat VIP and Platinum-level tickets.
The festival is promoted by C3 Presents and is backed by Live Nation, who is responsible for other music festivals around the country, such as Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Shaky Knees and more.
In 2016, Live Nation staged a music festival in the same location that featured Tool and Dave Matthews Band as the headliners.
