Details regarding the Aug. 4 stabbing of an Anoka woman were shared by Anoka Police Chief Eric Peterson the next evening at an Anoka City Council meeting. Police responded to the 1800 block of Ferry St. at around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.

“A 36-year-old woman was stabbed in her apartment,” Peterson said. “Upon arrival, officers located the suspect armed with a knife and he was arrested after negotiating (a surrender).”
