Anoka Marching Tornadoes Win State Youth In Music championship

The Anoka Marching Tornadoes took first place out of 11 bands in Class A in the Youth in Music Marching Band Championships Oct. 12 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The Tornadoes also won a caption award for Best Winds and Brass.

The show theme was “The 12th Strike” with a Cinderella story line, Cinderella’s experience at the Royal Ball and after.
