Japanese Retailer Ebisu Opening Third Twin Cities Location

Ebisu's newest store will be its first in the north metro.

Ebisu, an Osaka, Japan-based retailer selling a wide range of Japanese products, will open at Rosedale Center in early 2025.

Molly King, the mall's senior manager of retail marketing and advertising, said Friday the store is set to open in a few weeks on the mall's lower level next to the brand new Dick's Sporting Goods.

The new store will become Ebisu's third location to open in the Twin Cities in less than three years, joining outposts at Mall of America and Eden Prairie's Asia Mall.

An all-in-one lifestyle store, Ebisu sells Japanese snacks, candy and beverages, wellness and beauty products, stationary and toys, household essentials, kitchenware and more.

Another Asian retailer expanding in Minnesota is the variety store MINISO, which is expected to open its first Twin Cities location at Eden Prairie Center in January.
