Early morning on Friday, a specialized unit of officers conducted a warrant service in the Brooklyn Center area that resulted in the detention of three adults.
The operation, led by the Tactical Response Unit, executed a high-risk search warrant around 6:00 AM in the 7500-Block of Humboldt Circle, as detailed by the Brooklyn Park Police Department Alert. This action came at the behest of Brooklyn Center Police Department investigators who are currently working on an ongoing case.
During the operation, there was a coordinated effort to ensure the safety of both the officers and the individuals involved.
A "protective sweep" was undertaken following the detention, a standard procedure in such operations.
As reported by the Brooklyn Park Police Department, the individuals, and the residence were eventually handed over to the control of investigators present at the scene.
The Brooklyn Center Police Department has not released any additional details about the ongoing investigation.
