Blaine, MN - The death of a Minnesota infant is under investigation, but authorities are indicating that no foul play is suspected at this time.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Office is reporting that emergency responders were dispatched to a residence in Blaine Friday morning on a report of an infant not breathing. The preliminary report on the incident states that life saving measures were performed on the infant girl before she was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The Midwest Medical Examiner's Office is currently working to determine the cause of death. The case is being investigated by the Anoka County Sheriff's Office and the Blaine Police Department.
