4 Teens Taken Into Custody In Death Of Champlin Park High School Senior

The 18-year-old was found dead in a car in Ramsey on March 2.

ANOKA COUNTY, Minn. — Four teens were arrested Tuesday two weeks after a high school senior was found dead in Ramsey.

Diamond Eddie Manly, a senior at Champlin Park High School, died from an apparent gunshot wound. Police responded on March 2 to reports of a person slumped over in a car at the 4600 block of Snowy Owl St. NW.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday that four teens were arrested in connection to the homicide. The teens range in age from 15 to 17 years old and were arrested in Shoreview, Ramsey, and Coon Rapids. Officials said they have not been charged.

Manly's parents describe their son as loving, caring and kind. They say he played soccer, and loved working with people younger than him.

"He's supposed to be graduating in June," Leona Yogei Manly, Diamond's mother, told KARE 11 earlier this month. "Celebrating my son, I had so much plans."

"To the person who killed my son, I need justice," Eric Manly, Diamonds' father, said. "I need justice."
