Anoka-Hennepin School Board Approves Minor 2025–26 Calendar Adjustment

Anoka, MN – September 3, 2025 – The Anoka-Hennepin School Board has approved a minor adjustment to the 2025–26 school calendar to better support students and staff. During its meeting on August 25, 2025, the board officially moved a staff development day from Friday, May 8, 2026, to Friday, May 1, 2026.

The change was implemented to provide instructional support and align with Advanced Placement (AP) testing schedules for high school students, which typically begin in early May. The adjustment ensures that staff can participate in professional development activities without conflicting with critical testing periods.
