Rocky’s Pumpkin Patch Returns to Coon Rapids with Free Family Fun and Community Connections
COON RAPIDS, Minn. — The City of Coon Rapids and the Coon Rapids Community Strength Foundation are once again inviting families to enjoy a day of autumn celebration at Rocky’s Pumpkin Patch, set for Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sand Creek Athletic Complex (1008 Northdale Boulevard).
This free community event promises a festive mix of family-friendly activities and opportunities for residents to connect with local youth organizations and nonprofits. Children can look forward to inflatable bounce houses and slides, an obstacle course, bingo, musical chairs, and face painting—all designed to make for a memorable fall outing. Costumes are encouraged, and attendees dressed for the occasion will have the chance to win prizes.
Each child will also receive a free pumpkin to take home, while supplies last, adding a seasonal touch to the festivities. One of the day’s highlights is the trick-or-treating experience, featuring creatively decorated booths hosted by youth-focused clubs, nonprofits, and community groups. Participating organizations will hand out candy, run games, and share information about programs that support local families and young people.
According to the City of Coon Rapids, the event is designed not only to celebrate the season but also to foster community connections by linking families with local youth activities, athletic associations, and volunteer opportunities. Youth organizations and nonprofits interested in participating can register to host a booth for a $50 fee, which includes space to decorate and interact with thousands of potential members and supporters.
Concessions will be available for purchase courtesy of the North Star Lions Club.
