COON RAPIDS, Minn. — The Coon Rapids Police Department (CRPD) has opened recruitment for two Police Officer vacancies, offering a 2025 pay range of $38.97 to $51.89 per hour. The department is inviting licensed or license-eligible individuals to join a law enforcement team known for its strong community ties, comprehensive wellness programs, and commitment to professional development.

Officers may also rotate through a range of specialized assignments, including Detective work, SWAT, Mobile Field Force, Firearms and Response-to-Resistance Instruction, K-9, and Reality-Based Training Instruction.
Applicants must be POST license-eligible by January 1, 2026, and successfully complete a comprehensive background investigation, psychological evaluation, medical exam, drug testing, and agility test.
