COON RAPIDS, Minn. — The City of Coon Rapids is gearing up for one of its most beloved community traditions — the annual Senior Bazaar & Flea Market, taking place on Thursday, November 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Coon Rapids Civic Center, 11155 Robinson Drive.
Sponsored by the Super Senior Club, the event invites residents to shop a wide selection of handmade crafts, home décor, jewelry, books, and festive holiday treasures — including an entire “Christmas Room.” Visitors can also enjoy a community bake sale while browsing for unique, affordable finds.
All proceeds from the sale will benefit local charities and programs that support seniors and community initiatives in Coon Rapids.

To prepare for the event, the Coon Rapids Senior Center is accepting donations of new or gently used items to help stock the bazaar’s tables and displays. Requested items include:
However, the Senior Center emphasizes that certain items cannot be accepted, including clothing, shoes, electronics, plants, furniture, or any items that are broken, dirty, missing parts, or have been boxed up for decades.

Residents may drop off donations at the Coon Rapids Civic Center from Monday, November 3, through Friday, November 7, between 10 a.m. and noon. During these hours, volunteers will be on-site to assist with unloading boxes and moving items into the building.
The City requests that residents do not leave donations outside outside these designated hours, as items will be unsecured and exposed to weather conditions.
The Senior Bazaar & Flea Market is more than a seasonal shopping opportunity — it’s a cherished local tradition that brings together residents, volunteers, and community organizations in the spirit of giving and connection.
