ANDOVER, Minn. Today, Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, the Anoka County Sheriff's Office has its administrative and non-emergency offices closed in observance of the Christmas holiday, consistent with Anoka County’s official holiday schedule.
The closure follows an early shutdown at noon on Christmas Eve and applies to the Sheriff’s Office headquarters and the Andover office at 13301 Hanson Boulevard NW. Regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., are expected to resume on Friday, Dec. 26.
While front-office services are unavailable today, law enforcement patrols and emergency response operations continue without interruption across Anoka County.
Residents who need assistance are reminded that help remains available:
The Sheriff’s Office advises that email and other administrative channels are not monitored around the clock and should not be used for urgent matters. Dispatchers staffing the non-emergency line can still send a deputy if circumstances warrant, even while the front office is closed.

Because of the Christmas Day closure, the following in-person services are unavailable:
Residents with routine administrative needs are encouraged to plan visits or submissions after offices reopen on Friday.
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office is the primary law enforcement provider for several contract cities and townships, including Andover, Bethel, Columbus, East Bethel, Ham Lake, Linwood, Nowthen, and Oak Grove. Led by Brad Wise, the agency also oversees specialized services such as the Midwest Regional Forensic Laboratory and the Anoka County Jail.
The Sheriff’s Office has extended holiday well wishes to residents and continues to encourage safe and responsible celebrations throughout Anoka County.
