Aldi opened on July 11 in the city of Ramsey, 7992 Sunwood Drive NW.
The mayor and City Council Members, Economic Development Authority members, Planning Commission members, Anoka Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, and Aldi employees were part of the ribbon cutting, according to a Facebook post from Ramsey on July 11. Hundreds of community members waited for the doors to open. The first eight in line camped out overnight.
