COON RAPIDS, Minn. — On Monday afternoon, June 2, 2025, a semi-truck rollover crash led to the closure of westbound lanes on U.S. Highway 10 in Coon Rapids, causing significant traffic disruptions.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the incident occurred around 1:10 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 10 and University Avenue. A box truck, traveling westbound, veered across the grassy median of the exit ramp and overturned, blocking all westbound lanes. The driver sustained minor injuries and was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Emergency responders promptly arrived at the scene, and traffic was diverted to Highway 610 while crews worked to clear the wreckage. The highway remained closed for several hours before reopening later in the afternoon.
The cause of the rollover is currently under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.
