COON RAPIDS, MN — Coon Rapids High School (CRHS) alumni are invited to turn back the clock and reconnect with fellow Cardinals at the much-anticipated All-Class Reunion, slated for Wednesday, July 2, from 5-10 p.m. This year, the celebratory gathering is strategically integrated into the City of Coon Rapids' expansive 4th of July Celebration, promising an evening rich with nostalgia and community spirit.

The reunion, marking its fourth iteration, will be held under a large tent near the music stage at the Coon Rapids Ice Center, located at 11000 Crooked Lake Blvd. NW. This central location offers easy access to the broader city festivities, which run from July 2-4 at Boulevard Plaza and include a community parade, live music, carnival rides, and a grand finale fireworks display on July 4th.

Last year, the CRHS All-Class Reunion boasted an impressive turnout of over 400 graduates, spanning generations from the school's very first graduating class of 1966 all the way to the most recent graduates of 2025. Organizers anticipate another strong showing this year, eager to foster connections across decades of CRHS history.

"The All-Class Reunion is more than just a casual meet and greet; it's a vibrant celebration of the diverse experiences and shared history that define the fabric of the Coon Rapids community," stated a representative from the City of Coon Rapids' social media. "It's an opportunity to relive teenage memories, reconnect with old friends, and share stories that highlight the lasting impact of a Coon Rapids High School education."

The event offers a family-friendly atmosphere, welcoming alumni of all ages to share their "remember when?" moments. Attendees can expect good food, live music from the broader 4th of July celebration, and the unique camaraderie that comes from a shared high school experience.

For those interested in attending, while registration is not mandatory, alumni can find further details and information about reserving dedicated class tables on the City of Coon Rapids' official website or the Coon Rapids High School's alumni pages. Reserving a table for $40 per table (which includes eight chairs) is a popular option for classes celebrating specific anniversaries.

Coon Rapids High School, part of the Anoka-Hennepin School District, has a proud history, with notable alumni including professional basketball player Tom Copa (Class of 1983), MLB player Logan Shore, and Minnesota politicians Branden Petersen and Representative Zack Stephenson. The All-Class Reunion stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of the Cardinals and their continued connection to the community.
