Anoka County Sheriff’s Office Offers Pink Patches and Pins to Support Breast Cancer Awareness
ANOKA COUNTY, Minn. — The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) is once again showing its support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by offering custom pink patches and pins to the public throughout October. The initiative aims to raise both awareness and funds for Hope Chest for Breast Cancer, a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization that provides emergency financial assistance to breast cancer patients and their families.
The limited-edition items — a pink ACSO patch, a vintage pink ACSO patch, and a pink ACSO badge pin — are available for $10 each. All proceeds from the sales will be donated to Hope Chest for Breast Cancer, which helps patients cover urgent non-medical expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and child care during treatment.
How to Purchase
Members of the public can purchase the items in person at the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office in Andover:
Location: 13301 Hanson Blvd NW, Andover, MN 55304
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Purchasing Window: Main floor service window
Exact cash or checks made payable to the Anoka County Crime Prevention Coalition are accepted. The Sheriff’s Office notes that phone and mail orders cannot be processed.
The pink patch and pin initiative will run through October 31, giving residents an opportunity to participate in a meaningful way while supporting a local cause that makes a direct impact on Minnesota families affected by breast cancer.
Hope Chest for Breast Cancer partners with law enforcement and community organizations across the state to fund programs that assist patients during times of financial hardship. The ACSO’s participation reflects a broader commitment among public safety agencies to support breast cancer awareness and community well-being.
