Coon Rapids Recycling Center to Close for Veterans Day Holiday: City Announces Temporary Schedule Change

COON RAPIDS, MN — The City of Coon Rapids has announced that the Coon Rapids Recycling Center will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, in observance of the federal Veterans Day holiday. The closure honors the national day of recognition for U.S. military veterans and allows city staff and residents alike to commemorate the occasion.

According to the City of Coon Rapids Local Government, normal operating hours will resume on Wednesday, November 12, at 9 a.m. Residents planning to use the facility are encouraged to plan ahead and adjust their recycling drop-off schedules accordingly to avoid inconvenience.

The Coon Rapids Recycling Center, located at 1827 111th Avenue NW, provides a convenient and environmentally responsible way for residents to dispose of and recycle a wide range of materials, including paper, cardboard, electronics, metals, and plastics.
