BLAINE, Minn. — The Blaine Police Department’s annual Winter Coat Drive is underway, and there’s still time to contribute. Residents are encouraged to donate new or gently used winter coats at Blaine City Hall through November 30.

Minnesota winters can be harsh, and access to a warm coat is essential for many residents facing financial hardship. The Blaine Police Department is partnering with the Salvation Army to distribute donations to those in need across the community.
Each coat donated helps ensure that children, families, and seniors stay warm this winter. Blaine PD encourages residents to “clean out their closets” and give back, demonstrating the community’s solidarity and care for neighbors.
This drive is part of Blaine Police Department’s ongoing commitment to community outreach and support, including partnerships with local nonprofits such as HOPE 4 Youth and Alexandra House.
