COON RAPIDS, MN (August 19, 2026) The Coon Rapids Farmers Market will hold a special Senior Day celebration Wednesday afternoon, offering residents an opportunity to shop from local vendors while enjoying live entertainment.

The market will be open from 3 to 6 p.m. in the parking lot of the Coon Rapids Ice Center, 11000 Crooked Lake Boulevard.

Senior Day will feature vendors offering information and resources of interest to older adults. Musician Tom Paquin is scheduled to perform live from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Visitors can also shop for seasonal vegetables, berries, flowers, honey, jams, breads and other locally offered products. Available merchandise may vary depending on participating vendors and seasonal growing conditions.

The Coon Rapids Farmers Market serves as both a local shopping destination and a community gathering place. The market is sponsored by the Anoka County Growers Association and operates from 3 to 6 p.m. every Wednesday through October 7.

The city has also invited cottage-food producers, artists and craftspeople to participate as vendors, helping broaden the market beyond traditional produce offerings.
