Bank of America celebrated the grand opening of a new financial center in the Twin Cities market. The opening of this center in the city of Blaine further represents Bank of America’s mission to bring retail banking, lending and small business services to local clients, along with investing and personalized financial guidance from Merrill. This opening is part of the company’s plans
to open 150 new financial centers in 2027.

The opening of the new Blaine Financial Center in the Twin Cities builds on Bank of America’s ability to serve nearly 250 million people across more than 200 markets, or approximately 82% of the U.S. population. Bank of America currently operates approximately 3,600 financial centers across the country and currently serves clients through 23 financial centers in Minneapolis/St. Paul and its more than 470 local employees.

“Continuing to modernize our financial centers while expanding our digital capabilities unifies high tech with meeting our clients when, where and how they choose as our network remains a core strategic advantage,” said Lucas Giamebelluca, Bank of America market president.

Last year, Bank of America announced it raised its U.S. minimum hourly to $25 per hour for full-time and part-time employees, bringing the minimum annualized salary for full-time employees to more than $50,000. Also announced was their commitment to increase military and community college hiring, creating 700 financial center jobs in new growth markets across the country. The opening of the Blaine financial center will create new job opportunities to join over 450 current employees in Minnesota who are helping to grow the local economy and strengthen the community.

Clients in the Twin Cities also have access to Bank of America’s industry-leading digital capabilities which serve the banking, lending and investing needs of approximately 60 million verified digital clients. The new financial center showcases the latest technology, private offices to assist clients one-on-one, and on-site financial specialists who work as one team to understand a client’s unique priorities and goals, and to provide personalized guidance.
