Hennepin County encourages people to get moving with their annual Step To It Challenge.
You can sign up at: Steptoit.org and then log your miles online for a chance to win prizes.
Several cities also are hosting activities and events to get people moving this spring.
In Plymouth, Mayor Jeff Wosje is hosting a “Walk with the Mayor” event from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on May 1. The walk is free and there’s no need to register.
Paso a Paso Kick-off is on Saturday, April 29, at the Cooper High School gym in New Hope from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a Zumba class, activities for kids and more.
