Authorities Investigating Woman’s Death In Blaine

BLAINE, MN — Local law enforcement agencies are investigating the sudden death of a woman in Blaine earlier this week.

According to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a residence near the 8900 block of Waconia Street Northeast shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Monday, July 15, following a report of a woman who was not breathing.

Upon arrival, first responders attempted life-saving measures, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials have not yet released the woman’s identity. The cause and circumstances surrounding her death remain under active investigation by the Blaine Police Department, the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.

Authorities have not disclosed whether foul play is suspected, and no further details have been made public at this time.
